Lakemont Tennis is heating up for 2018 and all we need is you!
We have been working hard on our Tennis and Pickleball Program and we have tons of events and programs planned for the spring. I hope you will join us for these community programs and pass this email along to any friends or neighbors who may have interest. We have an active neighborhood which will only grow stronger by you joining with us in these exciting programs!
This spring we are starting a fresh season of Junior Tennis and have tennis program options for juniors of all ages. Our programs are overseen by top-notch instructors that work with juniors every step of the way to improve their technique, footwork, and overall confidence on the court. We even have team options for juniors to put their skills to the test with weekly match play.
This spring we are also launching our first ever Pickleball Clinic, in addition to our Intermediate Level Adult Tennis Clinic. Pickleball is played on a tennis court, using the tennis net and half of the tennis court. Pickleball uses a wood or graphite paddle and a pickleball, similar to a wiffle ball. Pickleball is a GREAT sport for adults (active and not so active) who are looking to get moving and meet other members and friends in the community. Believe me, you have to check this sport out!
We have 2 FREE Lakemont Community events this Spring:
- A FREE Spring Tennis Play Day at the Lakemont tennis courts on Wednesday, February 21st, from 5:30 – 6:30pm.
- We have a FREE Pickleball Play Day at the Lakemont tennis courts on Sunday, February 18th, from 2:00-3pm. We will be sending out an RSVP form next week to register. This is for adults only but we will have tennis activities for children ages 4 and up so that the parents can be free.
We will be sending out an RSVP form next week to register for both events.
If you have any questions or would like more details, please contact Kevin LeCount (email@example.com) and either he or a Tennisbloc representative will gladly reach out and help get you plugged in!
Please note, courts are reserved for organized lessons, clinics, camps and tournaments; plan your court time accordingly.
